The Office of Research and Faculty Development staff provides guidance and support for statistical design and analysis as you plan your next study, advise you how to compute results from existing data, or summarize these results in written documents. We also review and critique proposals or written documents in terms of the articulation of research methods used and can help you improve your overall presentation of statistical results.

Contact us if you need help with any of the following:

  • Statistical design of a survey or experiment
  • Prospective power computations
  • Choices of statistical analysis procedures
  • Choices of software to run these procedures
  • Interpretation of statistical results
  • Review of written material for use of appropriate statistical terminology
  • How to respond to statistical comments from journal or grant application reviewers
  • Questions on how to set up and code statistical software
