How to submit your pre-proposal
Unless specified in an OVPR email announcement, our office expects individuals interested in applying for a limited submission program to send an email by the noted internal deadline:
TO: Mary Fechner, Director of Faculty Development
CC: Moira Kiltie, Assistant Vice President for Research
Provide a written statement expressing interest in the program, with a short explanation of the project they wish funded, justification for their proposal to move forward as the University submission and a summary of budget related issues. Requests for campus cost-sharing or other resources not covered in the request to the funding agency, or exceptions to campus policies must be identified at this pre-proposal stage and included in the budget summary.
